Typing speed is mandatory to be good in programming or system jobs.
I am not good in programming, but this is what I found about advices in the net:
+concentration is essential for programming.
+prolonged period to keep practicing
+start journey with relative simple language, learn the basic, don't master it. Go for language to understand memory management, garbage collection and fundamental concepts. Then, it's time to master a language.
+learn programming to prove that you can establish it.
+start a small project and you will learn from it during the process.

About Time Management
Everyone has 24 hours a day, how to put it in good uses?
Suggestions:
1. make a schedule and stick to it.
e.g: identify pattern of your life activities. enhance it.
2. prioritise - the most important first. what impact of each in short, medium and long terms will determine the important things to
do.
3. Set some boundaries.
Keep yourself peace and work on what you want to achieve.
4. Good distraction
You can't work like machine, so you need some breaks.
few minutes distraction for a cup of coffee, strolling, fresh air, meditate/yoga.
5. Stay away from bad distractions like worries, dwelling on the past, social media and email notifications.
6. Never procrastinate
if it can be done today, do it today.
don't rush for last minute task.
